Aurora and Homesteaders announce ipad giveaway winners!
Aurora Casket partnered with Homesteaders Life Company, a national leader in pre-need funeral funding, to sponsor an iPad giveaway at the 2013 NFDA International Convention & Expo in Austin, Texas. The giveaway promoted the Price Protection Program (P3), a casket price protection program offered through Aurora and Homesteaders.
NFDA expo attendees who visited both the Aurora and the Homesteaders booths had their entry slips stamped by representatives at each booth, and entered into the drawing. Two winners were drawn from a large pool of entrants:
Shaun Myers of Myers Mortuary in Salt Lake City, Utah is one of the iPad winners. Myers is the president of Myers Mortuary, which has been serving Utah families since 1921. The firm operates five facilities and hosts numerous community outreach programs and events.
Monica Coulter of Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont, Neb. was also selected to win an iPad. Moser Memorial Chapel was established by the Moser family in North Bend, Neb. It has grown to include four locations, and provides many services to meet the needs of client families.
The Price Protection Program (P3), a joint program offered by Homesteaders and Aurora, allows participants to lock in the current wholesale price of an Aurora casket when specified on a qualifying Homesteaders-funded policy. It also rolls back the original wholesale cost an additional 2% at the time of death. This program offers significant savings for funeral home customers, guaranteeing future business for their firms at prices that will allow them to be more profitable.
